  • Your students can buy their access codes along with their Students' Books - you will need to tell them to buy the version of the Students' Book with the MyCosmicLab access code.

2. What do I tell my students to buy?

  • Your students need to buy the Student's Book special pack with Access Code from the bookshop.
The Access code can be found on the inside cover of their book.

  • MyCosmicLab access is free for teachers who have adopted Cosmic as the main B1,B1+ and B2 course in their exams classes. Students will need to buy the access code version of their coursebook. Please contact your local Pearson representative for more details.

4. How do I set up my class in the system?

  • When you agree to adopt MyCosmicLab in your classes contact Pearson for your Teacher's access details.
  • We will send you a Username & Password and you will be ready to access the system.
  • To register your students go to mycosmiclab.com/classregistration
  • All you have to do is follow the instructions to enter your Students' Access codes and the class they belong to.
  • The online Registration System automatically checks the authentication and validity of the Students' Access Codes as well as the level your Cosmic students are assigned to.
  • Once the Students' Access Code is accepted by the system, Teachers need to enter the Student's e-mail and name.
  • Then the online Registration System will automatically generate a Username and password for each registered student.
  • At any time during the process you can contact Pearson Hellas at 210 9373170 for assistance.

5. What is the duration of the student and the teacher access?

  • Once you have redeemed an access code for which a username and password have been generated, this is considered as having used the Access code.
  • All Usernames and passwords provided by the system are valid until the following 31st of July.

6. Can more than one teacher teach the same class?

  • Yes, more than one teacher can be assigned to the same class. Each teacher will need a different Username and password to access the same class.

7. Can students use MyCosmicLab without a teacher?

  • A student will not be able to access the material without a teacher setting up a class for them to join.
  • All the MyCosmicLab activities are fully integrated with the coursebook and are intended to be used with your class.

8. Could MyCosmicLab be used to support a different coursebook?

  • MyCosmicLab is the online workbook component of the B1, B1+ and B2 course Cosmic. It is not a course in itself. All the content is integrated with each unit of the course and it is intended to be used only with this course.

9. My students bought the printed version of their Cosmic Workbook, but now we want to use the online version. Is this possible?

  • Yes, this is possible. Ask your students to give you the Access Codes in their Workbooks.
  • These access codes are not yet active so you need to contact your local Pearson representative and ask them to activate the codes.
  • Ensure you have your Teacher's username and password from Pearson as well.
  • Then you can set up the class with usernames and passwords. See the section above 'How do I set up my class in the system?
